Paving and repair for manufacturing plants and truck yards

If you run a plant or a truck yard in Fort Smith, new asphalt paving there has to carry loaded trailers as well as cars. We build the stone base under the truck lanes and loading docks for that weight.

Asphalt paving

New asphalt from the ground up: the site graded, a compacted stone base, then hot mix rolled to the thickness written on your estimate.

Asphalt repair

Potholes and failed spots cut out square, rebuilt from the base up, and rolled level.

At a truck yard, asphalt usually fails first where trailers stop, back in, and turn sharply: the gate, the dock aprons, and the corners of the yard.

Driveways, sealing, striping, and upkeep in Fort Smith

  • A long, deep-black asphalt driveway winding uphill past a white rail fence to a large brick house with tall white columns

    Residential driveways

A new driveway, a worn one replaced, or gravel turned to asphalt, built on a base made for what parks on it.

  • A freshly sealcoated black driveway curving up to a white two-story house, green lawn on both sides

    Sealcoating

A protective coat over asphalt that's still sound, put down after the cracks are filled.

  • Two workers in a parking lot, one pouring sealant from a pour pot while the other brushes it into a seam in the asphalt

    Crack sealing and filling

Cracks cleaned out and sealed so rain can't reach the base underneath.

  • Hatched striping on a parking lot meeting a painted curb beside a concrete sidewalk

    Parking lot line striping

Stalls, accessible spaces, arrows, and fire lanes laid out and painted, or restriped after sealing.

  • An asphalt distributor truck spraying a steaming lane of liquid asphalt on a rural road

    Tar and chip (chip seal)

Liquid asphalt sprayed down and covered with stone, then rolled in: a lower-cost surface for long rural driveways.

  • A worker beside a hand tamper, its head wrapped in black plastic, pressing down a fresh patch in a pothole on a stony road

    Asphalt maintenance

Patching, crack sealing, sealcoating, and restriping, in that order, on a regular cycle.

Signs your truck lanes need more than an overlay

Resurfacing won't hold over a base that loaded trucks have already broken, because the new layer cracks in the same places the old one did.

Three signs tell you the base under a truck lane has failed:

  • Ruts worn into the wheel paths
  • Alligator cracking, a web of small connected cracks shaped like scales
  • Soft spots that flex or push water up through the cracks when a loaded truck crosses them

Sealcoating won't fix any of these either. We rebuild those spots first, and the sound asphalt around them can then take an overlay.

What customers say about the work

  • ★★★★★
We needed the private road into our subdivision repaved. Alec came out to look at it, gave us an honest price, and the crew finished in two days with minimal disruption to the neighbors. The road is smooth and drains properly now.

I look after the property for our church. The lot had cracks everywhere and the lines were faded. They resurfaced the whole thing and restriped the spaces and handicap spots over about a week, working around our Wednesday night and Sunday services so nobody lost parking. I always knew what was happening next. Great value for a church budget.

Kyle B.Conway · Church parking lot

We decided to go with a tar and chip surface for our property instead of standard blacktop. It gave us the rustic look we wanted but with way less dust than gravel. Alec explained the whole process clearly and the price was very reasonable.
