Parking lots, paving, repair, and sealcoating in Batesville

At a Batesville industrial plant, one asphalt parking lot can carry loaded trucks at the loading docks and staff cars a few rows away.

For plant owners here, we build and rebuild parking lots, pave new asphalt, repair the sections that have broken up, and sealcoat the rest of the lot. The same work fits the lots at Batesville's hotels, hospital, college campuses, big-box stores, and apartment complexes.

Parking lot paving

New lots, rebuilds, and mill-and-overlay work, laid out so the water reaches the drains.

At a plant, we can build the truck lanes and the pavement in front of the loading docks on a heavier base than the rows where staff park.

Asphalt paving

New asphalt from the ground up: the site graded, a compacted stone base, then hot mix rolled to the thickness written on your estimate.

Asphalt repair

Potholes and failed spots cut out square, rebuilt from the base up, and rolled level.

On plant grounds, potholes can open first where loaded trucks turn, brake, and back up to the docks.

Driveways, striping, and other asphalt work in Batesville

Batesville requires drain tile when a driveway is built or repaired

The rule is Chapter 9.24 of the city's Municipal Code, under Title 9 (Streets and Sidewalks). It makes building or repairing a driveway without drain tile unlawful for any person or business, on any property inside the city limits. A driveway at a plant or a store falls under it as much as one at a home. The tile has to handle the water flow, to reasonable standards the City Building Inspector approves.

If your driveway is inside the city limits, count the drain tile as part of the job when you compare estimates.

What customers say about the work

  • ★★★★★
Our lot was cracked and full of low spots. They patched it, laid new asphalt over it, and striped it over a weekend so we didn't lose a single patient day. Communication was great, and the lot looks professional again.

  • ★★★★★
Our industrial facility lot takes a heavy beating from delivery trucks. Alec's Asphalt came in over the weekend to resurface the worst sections and restripe everything so it wouldn't disrupt our normal business hours. Top-notch service.

Robert M.Searcy · Industrial lot resurfacing and striping

  • ★★★★★
We have a long gravel driveway that washed out every spring. Alec recommended tar-and-chip, explained why, and it's already held up through a couple of hard rains. Fair price and the crew was done in a day.
